If you're looking to cook flatbreads in the comfort of your own home, look no further. Listed below are a variety of flatbreads that you can cook for either yourself, family or friends. Get cooking!

Plain Flatbread - Ingredients

300g plain flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp black onion seeds

50g salted butter

185g full fat milk

Method

  • Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl or kitchen aid

  • Melt butter & milk in a pan

    2.

  • Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the melted ingredients into it

    3.

  • Bind together & beat or knead for 3/4 minutes

    4.

  • Pull the dough together, wrap in cling film and rest out of the fridge

    5.

  • Separate the dough into 6 balls and roll out (doesn't have to be perfect), as thin as possible

    6.

  • Heat a heavy duty frying pan until nearly smoking

    7.

  • Place wraps in the dry pan and cook for  2 minutes on both sides or until brown. Take out the pan and then they're ready to fill

  • We use this for our breakfast wraps - cheesy omelette, low & slow  cherry tomatoes with crushed avocados.
