FLATBREAD RECIPES

Plain Flatbread - Ingredients
300g plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp black onion seeds
50g salted butter
185g full fat milk
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl or kitchen aid
Melt butter & milk in a pan
Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the melted ingredients into it
Bind together & beat or knead for 3/4 minutes
Pull the dough together, wrap in cling film and rest out of the fridge
Separate the dough into 6 balls and roll out (doesn't have to be perfect), as thin as possible
Heat a heavy duty frying pan until nearly smoking
Place wraps in the dry pan and cook for 2 minutes on both sides or until brown. Take out the pan and then they're ready to fill
We use this for our breakfast wraps - cheesy omelette, low & slow cherry tomatoes with crushed avocados.
